Canine Good Citizen

DSC03908The American Kennel Club offers Canine Good Citizen Test in which your dog is evaluated on 10 different exercises. Passing this test will earn you a certificate which is proof of your responsible ownership and that your dog is a well-trained and friendly dog.
Because of recent anti-dog legislation, we highly recommend that every dog passes this test, and especially anyone who own one of the targeted breeds like Dobermans, GSD, Rottweilers and Pit Bulls. We practice a different exercise that will be included in the test in the Group Obedience Course. For the average dog and handler, 3 or 4 months of training should be enough to pass the test.

Behavior Problems

One-on one private instruction.

This class is recommended if you have special behavior problems such as aggressive behavior towards people or other dogs.
Aggressive behavior problems create enormous stress in the family. We have developed a comprehensive step-by-step program treatment protocol to control this dangerous behavior. Due to the complexity of this issue and the high risk for everyone involved, the first session will be held without the dog. After analyzing the plan you can decide if you wish to continue with the program.
Although we have helped countless dogs and their families, the reality is that aggressive behavior can be caused by a multitude of factors and 100% success cannot be guaranteed. Taking the time for behavior problem counseling will help you make an informed and guilt-free decision.
